LR022896 is an oil filter element and O-ring fitted to the oil cooler and filter assembly on 4.4 V8 diesel engines. The element removes contaminants from the engine oil while the O-ring provides a reliable seal within the oil cooler and filter housing. Inspect the element and O-ring during routine oil services and replace if contaminated, damaged or per the vehicle service schedule.
