LR108955 is an exhaust pressure sensor fitted to the low-pressure EGR system on 2.0L diesel engines. It measures exhaust backpressure in the EGR return line and converts that pressure into an electrical signal for the engine control unit to control EGR flow and monitor system performance. The tube connection included with the sensor positions the sensing port away from high-temperature components and links the sensor to the EGR return pipework to maintain correct pressure sampling for the control system.
